ABSTRACT : The development of Jeddah’s Corniche represents one of the most important projects that would contribute to bridge the gap between the rich cultural and historical characteristics of Jeddah and the ever changing global world. This research examines Jeddah’s vast coastline along the Red Sea and the opportunities to be exploited on its Waterfront, which can make a huge impact on the cultural, Educational, and economic and tourism aspects of the city of Jeddah. It intends to reunite the Red Sea with the city of Jeddah, aptly called as ‘Bride of Red Sea’. This study aims to devise, test and implement a transferable methodology to improve the Corniche, particularly the Central part of the Corniche. This report is classified into three parts, covering the lifecycle of this project from the basic ideas to the present implementation and the future innovations to visualize a world class destination for various activities.
